Goodbye 2010.. you won't be missed.

I know, I know I shouldn't be so harsh with 2010. There have been some ups this year. Some downs, and some plummets. (But more on that later.) I give you the BobCat's year in review..

• 2010 started out with us ringing in the New Year a little late, and pulling an all-nighter.

• I started an exercise regimen, and watched what I ate. Total for the year I lost about 30 pounds. (Not too shabby, but let's not talk about what I have probably gained back these last few weeks with the holidays!)

• Said goodbye to my Granddaddy.

• Said hello to 27 (Even got a surprise party.)

• Got a lot of use out of my new camera.

• Photographed them, her and her 1st birthday, him, her, her,them, him and his family, and her.

• Traveled here, here, here and here (for Bob's new hobby), here for our 4th anniversary, here, here (twice), here,

• Struggled with a stomach issue and a painful neck injury.

• Said goodbye to a favorite.

• Enjoyed Summer

• Wished a good friend good luck in his new adventures.

• Partied it up. For an end of Summer soiree, a spooky dinner party, a Guamese Birthday, and a very tipsy Christmas mocktail party.

• Hiked a whole lot. The Saturday hikes were some of my favorite memories from the year.

• Finally took family pictures. It's been ten years, so it was long overdue.

• And I might add that I got in my first ever car accident that was my fault this year. Not to mention last week a girl ran a stop sign and plowed into me. Yes, that means I have had a total of three car accidents this year. Three. What's so strange is I can't remember the last time I got in a car accident before this year, and of course I haven't even had a speeding ticket in my lifetime, but I get into a car accident that was my fault for the first time in the same year.

Not my lucky year folks. But that's okay, I am gearing up for 2011. It's bound to be better.. at least it can't get any worse. Knock on wood. Happy New Year everybody!

A year in review..

It's hard to believe 2009 has come and gone. It's hard to believe it's 2010. A little surreal if you ask me. But alas we are about to see what this year holds for us. What will the year bring? Happiness, sadness? Ups, downs? From my experience it's probably safe to check the "all of the above box" on that one.

Farewell 2009, farewell to the memories..

- Said goodbye to our Roamin' dog that we still miss and talk about.

- Celebrated a milestone birthday.

- Tried our hand at Paula Deen's home cooking.

- A new addition to the Selle family arrived.

- Celebrated my 26th birthday.

- Celebrated Valentines Day differently than we ever had before. Do I sense a tradition?

- Continued on with my diet.

- Shot my very first gun.

- Bob got his new baby.

- My blog turned one. (It really should be walking by now)

- Was attacked.

- Went to some very rad events. (here, here, here, here, and one not so well acted event.)

- Joined a very cool group of people and traveled the world on my computer.

- Started getting more serious about photography.

- Had a very rainy, very fun camp out.

- Welcomed little Ella into the world.

- Spent the summer outdoors.

- Got the popular swine flu.

- Had fun get-a-ways (here, and here,)

- Celebrated three wonderful years, in a very beautiful place. And got one of the worst sunburns of my life.

- Jessica and I started a very worthwhile class.

- Entered my photography in the fair.

- Moved out of the elf apartment, and into a place I love very much.

- Got my favorite new toy.

- Visited our loved ones up north.

- And took a million pictures. (see the my photography tab, and the holga photography tab)

This year has been one to remember. I love that I have a blog to remind me of how lucky I am to have so many blessings. Happy New Year! Bring it on 2010.. hopefully this year my 20 year old body will reappear.

What a year!

Hmm, let's see this year included..

-The Mister and me celebrating birthday's. A big one for me. I was suddenly catapulted out of my early 20's and into my mid 20's gasp!

-I started a blog. Which I never thought I would do, but have found it's tons of fun, and have made great friends through it. Not to mention I now for the very first time have a journal! (It's the closest I am ever going to get, and I'm okay with that.)

-Some of my very closest friends have been blessed with little babes. I can't wait to see this lil' ballerina, this lil' spud, and this lil' jelly bean grow in 2009. Not to mention my new favorite lil' dude.

-I realized I am the luckiest girl in the world.

-I started learning new things, and getting new hobbies. Still not that great at this. Fell in love with this. Even found myself and three of my images in this show. (Very flattered.) And mom and I bonded over these.

-Celebrated our cotton anniversary in lovely Seattle.

-Had a blast at great concerts. (Sheryl Crow, Ingrid Michaelson, Joshua Radin, Colbie Callait, Josh Gracin)

-Left a lovely downtown apartment, and traded it in for a second lovely and slightly elfish apartment.

-Met Chandler Bing.

-Practiced some photography. Even though I wish I had a nicer camera, it's good to know that my dear friend has faith in me.

-Went through the longest elections! Ended up with a new president. One that would not have been elected 50 years ago. We witnessed history.

-Threw a baby shower that I think was a complete success.

-Spent a week in lovely Washington, with some very lovely people.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a new year and new experiences. Welcome 2009, it's nice to see you.
