Friday, Friday, Friday!

Have you seen this horrible video yet? It seriously cracks me up.

So I am sitting here at work with nothing to do except answer phones for the first time since I started here in January. I love the busy days. It makes the day fly by. Unfortunately I have little time for anything else.

I'm starting to get the hang of the new work schedule. I have even gone to the gym every day this week. It feels good. I feel bad I have been a little M.I.A in so many other thing in life. But for now, I think it's best to focus on my work, my health, and what little time I get with my husband. (We watched a Netflix last night. Have I mentioned I love Netflix?)

I am going to try to schedule some posts for the upcoming week, since I know it will be a busy one. We're heading to Moab for Easter weekend, and I'm getting excited. Also, there is an upcoming epic trip that I will discuss further as well.

Thanks for letting me ramble on. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Minute to Win it

My friends helped me celebrate my birthday this year by organizing a rad game of Minute to Win it. We had a blast. Thanks to everyone who came and made it so fun. And thanks to Bonnie and Jon for letting us tear your house apart!

It was alright though, Ella put on her heels and got right to work cleaning up after the chaos.

Everything was perfect from the food..

.. to the company.

I am so blessed to have so many great people in my life. Getting older isn't so bad when you are surrounded by those you love.

Anniversary Trip (Day Three.. Part Two)

Bob's brother Mike only lives about 3.5 hours away, so he came to jet ski with us.

The lake was gorgeous. The houses that line the lake were breath taking. (there was even a castle) There were two bridges we explored thoroughly. The water was so clear and fun to swim in. Needless to say the BobCat+Mikey were in heaven.

We had the camera on our jet ski for most of the time, so Michael got photographed a lot. He was nice to be a sport and let me photograph him. But at one point we handed over the camera to him to take a video of us swimming. Half of the time we didn't even know he was filming. I was cracking up as I went through the videos later. I decided to splice some of them together to give you an idea of how ridiculous we can be. (I apologize in advance for the silliness, but at least we were having fun.)

We left the lake feeling a bit tired, but we had a blast. The next day was our anniversary, so we took it a bit easier.

Summery Saturday

Our Saturday was chalk full of fun. We hiked, we swam, we ate really yummy food, and we saw one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Just your typical Summer fun. Here are a couple of snapshots from the pool.. (courtesy of Bob)

Ella thought we were all crazy..

..and judging by this video, I think she might be right. (Leave it to Eric to have a camera handy for this. Hey, at least Bob and I have fun right?)

My husband is one of the funniest people I know.

I just found this video from when Bob and I first got married. He was trying out my whitening strips and I snuck up on him with the video camera. This was his reaction..

Love will keep us together..

When driving in close quarters for 2+ hours.. you can bet bouts of singing will occur. (Whether you want it to or not.)

I will post the pictures from our trip soon. In the mean time.. this is a video from our day trip to Little Grand Canyon (found out it's not so little). It rained all day, but we still managed to have a ton of fun. (Sorry the camera was so shaky.)

Happy Montuesday! (For a definition of that word visit my fellow campers blog post by clicking here)

* It's not easy being green. *

a girl with green shoes

hopped in her white car (but since it's green day we are a little prejudiced against those white cars.)

skipped into her home and ate some green beans

because she was green with envy and wanted to be as skinny as this girl (someone should tell her to put on some clothes though)

when she was finished eating, she felt a little sick and her face turned green. So she laid in bed and made her husband entertain her with his theories on everything green.

Happy {Green} Day! (thanks to eric, alana, and kim for playing today)

* I'm Blue.. *

Friday night Bob decided he wanted to go out to eat. We looked for places we were in the mood for and since we were in Sugarhouse, we ended up at the Blue Plate Diner.

The funny thing is, I had completely forgotten that Monday was blue day until we were sitting down and I glanced at the neon blue sign. I laughed and said well this is perfect considering it's blue day on Monday. Bob just sat there confused and waited for me to fill him in. He then noticed we were even wearing blue. Me in my blue and white striped shirt and him in his blue hooded zip up. This blue stuff is pretty easy I guess, because it all happened on accident!

So for blue day I give you..

Dinner at the Blue Plate Diner (SO NOT ON PURPOSE!)

I sat across from a very handsome man with blue eyes.

And to end blue day please watch the video below(with sound). (notice the blue shoes)

I was going to have Bob video tape me doing a funny dance or something, but I kept busting up laughing. That song is the stupidest song ever. I once asked Bob what he thought was the worst song of all time. His reply? "That ridiculous blue song. The whole thing is gibberish!"

Anyway.. Happy {Blue} Monday!

Eric played along for blue day too. (click to see) so did Linda, thanks guys! (Kim did too, but she's on private)

We Wish You A Merry Christmas Eve!

Okay, this is mainly what we're doing.

(I apologize in advance for how ridiculously swollen I look. The Selle's have cats, and I am a tad allergic.)

When the fair turns ugly..

I sometimes insist on taking a video after we do things so our kids will know in the future when they watch it. Bob refuses to be a part of it because he thinks I am way too camera happy and he knows it will probably end up on my blog. So I am taking my normal video and something unexpected happened... (make sure you have your sound up)

(I don't know how to rotate this so you can see it right, so you may have to turn your head sideways a bit. Sorry.)

Right after I click off the video Bob insists I walk a little faster. I couldn't stop laughing. It cracked me up when I watched it again, because I click it off so quickly. I made it seem like we were in the middle of a gang fight or something. Our kids are going to think we are the coolest!
