Year One

I love that I have an online journal. I love that this is my place to say what I want, and do what I please. I however don't like that I didn't blog when Bob and I first got married. So today I am going to take a trip down memory lane so I can have some tidbits of our life before the blog. On the blog. Did that even make sense?

Anyway, today I am backtracking to our first anniversary. San Fransisco.

It turned out that our friends Bonnie and Jon were going to be in San Fran the week before, and the last day of their trip and the first day of ours, overlapped. So we went to China Town for lunch, and shopping, then to Haight and Ashbury, and ended up at the beach for a bonfire.

Then for the rest of the trip Bob and I just goofed off. We ate really yummy food, and had fun visiting all the touristy spots.

The trip was a blast. The weather was great, and it was such a great way to celebrate our first year married. We have since gone on two more anniversary trips (here and here) and I have come to realize I have the funnest (and funniest) travel companion out there.

I hope your caricature turned out better this time than that one time when we were given voluptuous fronts and sunglasses that do not exist! (I still have it)

Oh my gosh. We so need to hang out. I have a picture of Scott doing a very similar pose after we went to the Uffizi in Florence. They must have similar minds.
I love that you go on anniversary trips. What a great way to see the world!
