Our Saturday hiking adventures continued this weekend. Eric picked the hike this week. He took us up by Red Butte Gardens to a hike called The Living Room. I'm not sure if we were all aware of what we were getting ourselves into. None of us had hiked it before, so we ended up taking a harder path than we needed to. But the hike was fun, the views were beautiful and the company was great as always.
The Swenson's had to leave early, so they hiked part of the way, and then the rest of us headed up to the tippy top.
This is "The Living Room" part of the hike. There are rock chairs and sofa's up there to rest on.
Once there we decided we would hike even further up to the peak above us. The views were spectacular.
Thanks to everyone who came and made it so much fun. Next Saturday we are doing another hike, so let me know if you would like to join us.
The only bad thing that happened on our trip was Bonnie accidentally dropped her IPhone and Eric's jeep ran it over. This was the last photo it took before it's untimely death. They looked so happy together didn't they?
