September in Utah is one of my favorite times. It means the weather is cooling down. It means the leaves are changing just a tad. We get more rainy days. In the early mornings I crank up the heater in my car, and by the afternoon drive home, I need to turn on the air conditioner to cool down. It's that happy in between time.. where it's not quite Summer and Fall hasn't yet arrived.
When I glanced out the window just now, this is what I saw and it seems to sum it all up for me..
A few white puffy clouds entangled with some rain filled ones. With a happy blue sky to boot. (I just sounded like Bob Ross, didn't I?)

I'm always surprised when the fall comes: it always seems to me that summer had just began ... I'm never quiet ready for the weather to cool down.
(PS who's bob ross?)

You did!!! Great shot. I love taking pics when driving. It's amazing all the things you see.
The clouds this time of year always seem to be big and fluffy, don't they?
I enjoy the fall and crisp air this time of year. xoxo
great picture to capture that "in between, can't make up it's mind".
Happy September!!
September in Utah is amazing!
I don't think there is anything left for me to "comment." You summed that up quite perfectly. Bob Ross would be proud.
Yes. Exactly.
Living in a hot country, I share your sentiments. It's a nice in between time here too.
it could also be bob ross's hair (or him smiling down from heaven.
happy september, caitlin! you always make me giggle.
Happy September! I too love the chill in the air!
Birds are gone, clouds are on they way... Nice view ;)
Wow, these clouds look dramatic!
I love September for the same reason. It's not a hot summer anymore but it's not cold and rainy fall yet either :)
Happy September

and the smells after rain!
happy september!
Beautiful! thanks for the corner view. Utah skies are gorgeous...
Cotton clouds.
I love the way the cloud on the right seems to be imposing itself on the one on the left. It is almost as if it was asking it to move out of the way. 'Sorry, mate, we've got a business to run: RAIN!'
Greetings from London.
similar to what's happening here, only here it tends to be a sign of (lots of) grey to come. boo hoo.
(love francesca's typo, I also get a tad quieter after the summer ;)
Words in sync with the sky:)
Happy September!
