As summer comes to a close I am pausing to reflect on my favorite summer things. The things I will miss when the blistering cold Utah snow comes out to frolic. I've put together a list..
My Favorite Summer Things:
-Drive-in movies
-Warm nights
-Fireworks/Sparklers
-Taking walks
-Swimming
-Trips
-Random road trips
-Hiking
-Camping
-Popsicles, Ice cream, Icee's
-Holidays
-Time off work
-Getting to spend more time with my husband
-Grilling
-Frisbee in the park
- My anniversary
- Getting a tan. (Okay, maybe I'm not tan, but less pasty white.)
- Sitting on our front porch barefoot watching the sunsets.
- The carefree mood of summer.
It seems the thrill of summer is still with me after all these years.. even though I am no longer a student counting down the days till schools out. Bob just returned to school, so I guess this means Fall is rapidly approaching and I will have to be content with donning a light jacket and jumping in those Fall leaves.

That's really from Deli Girl ;) Have a nice day !
Deli... for delicious, of course !
thank you SO much for your photo love!
I dont really want summer to end yet, we got so much rain in June that we almost lost an entire month in the begining. I am hoping for a nice long Indian Summer here in NV!
In LOVE with the new header. Shhh, don't tell Deb Deb.
I will miss Sno Shack and watermelon the most. Sad that I miss food the most.
I like all the things you mentioned there, however, the one that made me really think was the "Taking walks" one...
You're right it IS a lot harder to go walking in the snow isn't it? lol but hey i guess that's when we need to invest in some snow pants...or gortex ones anyway. I think if I had a pair of those, I'd wear them EVERYDAY when it were wet and snowy outside. :) I know what you mean though...I too will miss the beautiful Summer evening walks!
That's a nice list!! And nice pictures. And a nice header :-D I like!!
I guess that is the good thing about living in the south are summers last longer here. I know it gets cold there and bitter cold. We are coming to SLC at Christmas and I am looking for a winter jacket.
