"Beaches" Salt Lake City, Utah

I kept trying to find time to go to the Great Salt Lake and show you the pretty beach and gorgeous water. But since I didn't have time, and since I'm stubborn about posting old pictures for the corner view. I decided to improvise and show you how I relax at "the beach" when I'm at home in the city. Mmm, close your eyes, and feel that cool bathtub breeze.. imagine the yellow rubber ducky as a seagull flying overhead.

Yes, I realize "my beach" isn't as spectacular as the one's in Australia.. but work with me people.. I live in a landlocked desert!

Build a sand castle with these people..

Very creative and cute, plus look at it this way... you won't get any sand in your bathing suit!

I love Aimee's comment! I think that will be my motto for the summer.

I like your take on the beach - we have to take our water where we can find it! Although I am not sure I could live far from the sea....

I just joined the Corner Week project this week and what a week to do it - all these beautiful photos of beaches!

That's fun! We can create the perfect (or a not so perfect one will do!) beach whenever we are!

The beautifully manicured and polished nails in the bath tub, are fabulous! Love them. Now the beaches in Australia are great - but remember the beaches in NZ are better, we don't have so many sharks as they do. Ha ha (no offence to Bonnie, love ya girl!)

Ha! My beach is like your beach!! Sometimes it's a bit foamy from the waves if I have any bubbles on hand! Clever post!

Happy Day!

As long as you are having fun, life's a beach as they say, wherever you are. Enjoy.

Too funny!! Nothing like a beachy bathtub with a rubber ducky!!

:-) And you don't have to worry about getting sand everywhere.

This is a great improvised beach. I closed my eyes as instructed and definitely saw the seagull! Thanks for a fun corner view :)
