Is this week over yet?

Lately while photographing, my eyes have been drawn to the little details. I love taking pictures of things that aren't all about the big picture. For instance, while camping I liked the lines and angles of our tent.

And while at the lake I was amazed at how reeds of grass could be transformed just by putting them against different backgrounds.

I guess I like making my photography abstract sometimes. Anyway, I know this is a random post, but my life is boring right now, and there isn't much going on.

Hopefully next week I will feel more inspired to blog. On a side note, I am very excited to have some of my favorite summer shows back on. (ie: SYTYCD and Wipeout.. seriously this show is genius.)

Love this post. I love photography because it allows you to see the way other people see the world. Of the senses, we will NEVER be able to taste, smell or feel something exactly as another person does. (Hearing is another lecture entirely i.e. the telephone game. But through photography we get that "sight" into someone's own little "reality."
That is why I think photography is such a vulnerable art form. You are giving someone a look inside your head and hoping they appreciate it as you do.
I love these photos, thank you for sharing them and the thought behind them.

Sorry for my "deep thoughts" I probably should of just said:

oh my goodness. I LOVE these!

Would you maybe be up for a photo swap? I would love to have one or two of these in my house Caitlin.

If you hadn't said these were from our camping trip I don't think I would have every guessed that is what these were. They look like something out of an art gallery or one of those fancy magazines. Ditto everything else that has been said!
