5 things I found out last night..

1. My mom is good at everything. (cooking, sewing, drawing, etc..) Me, her offspring somehow got skipped with those genes.

2. If there is a sewing needle in a 5 foot proximity, I will find a way to poke myself with it.

3. I am very creative in my head. But when it comes time to creating in real life, it never quite turns out how I want it.

4. I don't like black licorice!

5. Whatever my mom is creating will inevitably turn out much better than mine. I am lucky I have her to show me a thing or two. Or three, four.. let's just say sometimes I am not the quickest learner.

Isabells Umbrella

Some of you have received my little owl cards. I am tempted to buy these from the same seller. I love Isabells Umbrella!

Reminiscing..

When did this..

Turn into this?

I guess this means Caity likes to kick it old school.

good friend..

Dear Pursey,

Thank you for being big enough to fit.. well.. my whole life inside of you.

Sincerely,

the person holding you

p.s. Don't listen to Bob when he calls you heavy, he doesn't mean it.

Princess for a Day

We innocently went over to give Jessica her present for her birthday on Saturday, and somehow stepped into a Princess Party. You are all going to be jealous when I tell you this.. but I was transformed into a princess (crown included)..

the bling..

(If you are wondering if those are butterflies.. you are 100% correct. Purple butterflies)

clip on purple earrings..

..and let's not forget the gold(ish) green jeweled ring

I am proud to say I made this crown myself.

Here are my fellow princesses all dolled up in makeup.. (I skipped that step)

But we weren't the only princesses...

(My dad is such a good sport.)

Happy Birthday Jessica and Lindsey Lu!

Birthday in the Park

I very rarely work on Saturday's. But since I am here today, I figured why not post a little something. Last night was Zack's birthday in the park. My mom made one of her famous cakes. Zack chose Mickey...

(his ears were Oreo, and oh so tasty)

5 years old! (but talks like he is a grown up)

I think every kid there, tried to squeeze into this very mini tent. (I love the kid in the back that's keepin' in real)

(It finally hit me, that I am getting old. I used to babysit Courtney or Shortney as I like to call her, but as you can see she isn't that short anymore.. she is turning 18 in a couple months! Seriously?)
