Sunday Stroll

One of my very favorite things about living downtown is the scenery. Bob and I took a walk on Sunday afternoon all around the city. I love being able to walk to the temple in just minutes. What we thought would be a short leisurely walk turned into an hour and a half all over Salt Lake. Here are a few pictures from our walk around the city.

I fully admit that I have worked on editing these quite a bit. I miss shooting my holga, so I tried to make these photos close to that kind of look. Can't wait to hit San Diego so I can shoot the real thing. I still think these photos turned out pretty cool. I also got a couple shots of the temple. I'm going to wait to show you the rest of the temple shots in case I end up using them for a corner view.

Beautiful. I love urban photography: it's so much more difficult to get a really striking shot! Personally, I can't get the basics of photo editing ...

beautfiul shots Caity...what happened to Holga? Why must you wait for San Diego to use her again?

It's just expensive. I have been hesitant to use her until I go out of town.

Beautiful pictures!!! I love going for walks with my camera too (digital). I actually have a Holga laying around somewhere but I stopped using her because the pictures always came out really really bad. Too bad because I really love the Holga-effect. Any tips?
