Meet my two biggest fans..

I can't help but feel talented, funny, special, and loved by these two. Hope they realize that I thank my lucky stars every day for them.

If these walls could talk..

One of the saddest parts about moving for me is taking down all of our pictures and art from the walls. I know we get to take them with us and hang them in our new home, but there is something about walking into my house and seeing our three photographs Stanna so nicely gifted us.

If you were to look to the left you would see the photographs Jason Christensen was sweet enough to send our way.

To walk down the hall and into the kitchen to see my Robert Doisneau hanging dutifully over our stove.

To wake up every morning and see the streets of New York over our heads. Or to walk past the burst of red from the two panels Bob and I painted together.

To get ready in the mornings, step out of my shower and see my silly colorful Ikea ducks.

I will have to find new places to hang my beloved art. It's a smaller place, so I hope I can find a spot for everything. Maybe I'm being silly, but I don't want to take it all down! So I took pictures so I could remember it all. Thought I would share my walls with you. (p.s. I would love to see what's hanging in your house, play along if you'd like.)

Shoplifter's never prosper..

I thwarted a shoplifter. Yes, that's right I saw a girl stuffing the goods into her pockets and I went right up to her and did one of those cool spin kicks and hit her in the stomach, causing her to fall to the ground and everything came spilling out of her pockets. Then I noticed I was surrounded by strangers who were clapping for my good deed.

Okay, so it might not have happened exactly that way..

I was waiting in line at a grocery store trying to buy pumpkins and there was a girl in front of me trying to buy a tube of lipstick. She wouldn't move forward so I could put the heavy pumpkins on the conveyor belt thing, so I was getting a little mad and may have wanted to kick her. When it's her turn to check out, some brand new makeup comes spilling out of her pocket. She didn't make a move to grab it (obviously not wanting to get caught) So I picked it up and very loudly said "Hey, I think you dropped this." She got super flustered and said "Oh thanks." Then she tries to keep holding it and not pay for it. (Which I felt was a creative and equally bizarre tactic.)

The girl checking her out was fuming and told her she was going to have to ring that up. Then went over to get her manager. Busted.
Yeah, that's right I'm a crime fighter. (On the way out I chucked one of my pumpkins at her... okay the pumpkin thing didn't happen, but it would have in the movies.)

Love this time of year!

Am listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. It's making me excited for Halloween! I mean what other holiday can you hang out at a party with a nun, a witch, a cat and well a "thing"?

Interesting discovery #1

So as you know, we are packing up our apartment for the move. I must say it's been rather entertaining to find things that (A) I didn't know I had to begin with (B) Things I had completely forgotten about and (C) Things I have a strange affection for, and can't bear to part with.

I may decide to make this a temporary thing to post on if I keep finding ridiculous things like I did last night. Let me explain.. I was cleaning out our fridge and found this..

Doesn't look that strange right? Well I pulled it out and realized that someone had given this to us as part of a wedding gift. Yes, yes I have had it in my fridge for over two years. I am sure we would have used it had we noticed it.

So I decided it's like a fine wine that only gets better with age. If anyone wants to come over to my apartment, I can make you an ice cream sundae with some refined topping.

Didn't think I would ever have to watch High School Musical..

When your weekend includes..

- Coloring on pumpkins

- Making masks out of paper plates and plotting ways to scare people with them

- Watching High School Musical

- Having a sleepover where you blow up an air mattress to sleep on and everyone stays up laughing until one in the morning

- Eating endless junk food

- Rocking out to Disney music in the car

You must be hanging out with kids.

This weekend Jackson, Finn, and Sophia came to have a sleep over.

We had so much fun hanging out with these very entertaining kids.

Aubrie and Greg

Last night I shot Aubrie and Greg's engagements. It was freezing, but fun. You can't help but laugh when you are around the two of them. I love that they are both goofy and not afraid to have fun.
