Valentines Day in Idaho Falls

I don't know about you, but I can't think of a more romantic place to spend Valentines Day than Idaho..

Okay, okay so Idaho doesn't scream romance, but it does scream fun. At least to us. I mean what other destination can you visit a potato museum that's not exactly discreet with the enormous potato chillin' out front..

And it's always fun hanging out with these rockers..

Bob's uncle Brad and aunt Nita were nice enough to let us come hang out with them in Idaho along with Bob's cousin Celeste and her husband Tom. We started out trying to go to Italian food, but the wait was way too long, so we went and ate yummy (and authentic) Mexican food.

It's not every day you get to be serenaded by a Mexican mariachi band..

Then we went to see "He's Just Not That Into You" (to see what I thought click here) and back to Celeste and Tom's house for some guitar hero and YouTube.

We had a ton of fun, but to be honest as long as I have my Valentine, I am having fun wherever I go. Hope everyone had a great love day!

Sweet Cheeks

proof that i used to look good in a swimsuit.

Weekend Road Trip

Since Valentines Day was on a weekend this year we decided to take a little road trip up to Idaho to stay in a nice hotel and visit some of Bob's family.

Not only did the hotel provide Bath and Body Works stuff but it also had the most comfy bed I have ever slept in. Not to mention a phone in the bathroom, for those calls that just can't wait.

The hotel overlooked the falls (which at this time of year are frozen) and the Idaho Falls Temple.

On the way home we stopped at Bob's aunt and uncles house in Blackfoot for some lunch and a visit with his awesome grandparents. Even Bob's aunt Connie and her husband stopped by to visit.

The drive home was so pretty. Thanks to everyone who made our trip fun. We need to get together again soon.

(Also thanks to my mom for making me a yummy birthday dinner and cake Sunday night.)

My Birthday Party

Friday night we had so much fun for my birthday. We dressed up and partied at Olio in the Sheraton Hotel.

The food was yummy..

And so was the company.

We missed those who couldn't come. Gavin and Jessica even spoiled me by making this fabulous cake. When the server brought it out, everyone thought the restaurant had made it!

Speaking of being spoiled, my friends gave me so many amazing gifts! I have such thoughtful friends. Each gift was absolutely perfect for me.

I am incredibly blessed to have so many great friends in my life! A huge thanks to everyone who helped celebrate. And thank you all so much for your lovely comments, emails, e-cards, and facebook niceness! I seriously don't know how I got to be so lucky to have such lovely, wonderful and thoughtful people in my life!

Birthday Thanks..

I always thought it was a little silly that on my birthday people celebrated me. I mean I didn't really do anything. These two people did..

And a special thanks to my mom who actually went through all the delivery pains. So today I wanted to tell my parents thank you. Thanks for birthing me, thanks for burping me. And thanks for putting up with me all these 26 years!
