Ja Ja Ja Juicy..

Have to say I love Old Navy's 14.92 sale. I got two darling pair of pants for 30 dollars. If there were a tiny camera hidden in my car this weekend you would have seen me "car dancing" to this song. In celebration of my good deal. (It's a lucky thing there wasn't a camera, since my dancing looks similar to this.)

General Conference

This weekend my church had it's semi annual General Conference. Where the leaders of our church addressed us.

I must admit I was hesitant going into conference this year. I miss President Hinckley terribly. I miss his sense of humor and his love that radiated out of him. In fact every time a talk included a quote of his, it made me want to cry. I went into it thinking it wouldn't be the same.

What I needed to realize is that conference is a way for Heavenly Father to communicate through the speakers. I was listening to conference on Sunday morning while I started packing up my little apartment, and sort of moping because of how much I have become attached to my apartment and how I would miss it. As I was doing this, President Monson spoke. It felt like he was speaking directly to me. He spoke of change, and to remember to always look forward. I have come to realize that President Monson knows his stuff. He is very in tune with the spirit and while he communicates a little differently than President Hinckley did, he is still the prophet and amazing. Just thought I would share a bit of my conference experiences.

ABC weekend

Friday

(A)ccompanied by Jackseeonay. Jack and Bob stayed up late late late watching a scary zombie show, playing video games, munching popcorn and laughing.

Saturday

(B)runch with the gang at Rumbi. Afterwards the Hagen's were kind enough to bring us moving boxes and keep our afternoon filled with laughter. Then spent quality time and dinner with the 'rents and ate yummy Goodwood. I wanted to take a picture of how good my dad and Bob looked going to Priesthood, but they both looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to take a picture. (Bob also hijacked it and added his own personal touches.)

Sunday

(C)onference! I am already sad it's over. It was such a refreshing and edifying experience.

My apologies for being a day late..
